Enhanced Determinism is an optional setting available in Unity 2018.3 and above.
This setting is designed to reduce instability and randomness of the simulation, which can naturally occur in physics calculations even with the very same initial conditions.
When to use Enhanced Determinism
- If you have a scene which uses a large number of bodies.
- If your scene relies on accurate ragdoll effects.
How to enable Enhanced Determinism
- Open Player Settings in your project.
- Select Physics.
- Select the Enable Enhanced Determinism checkbox.
